On October 5, there will be the 70th anniversary of the Russian State Academic Symphony Orchestra after E.F.Svetlanov (GASO). The first performance of the orchestra, formerly called the USSR State Symphony Orchestra, took place on 5 October 1936 at the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. At that time, the new orchestrawas conducted by Alexander Gauk.
